With the innocense that I had in the 2nd grade. Evidence:
LOVE IS
Love is caring
Love is sharing
Love is having fun
And also being able to run
And lie in the sun
Love is having a heart
Love is being smart
A mother and a brother and a dad
Are very nice things to have
And because I have them all, I sure am glad.

I've been thinking a lot about my own childhood during this bedrest stint, and I truly hope that my children are able to expereince the pureness that existed in my life. No matter how bad things got in the situation with my parents and other bad stuff, I never really understood that there was anything truly wrong in my little world. The magic and the wonder of every little new experience is humbling even now. *sigh*
